IBM Scientists Use Analytics to Break Traffic Gridlock with Personalized Trip Info

IBM wants to give people all the information they need to make the best choices for commuting or traveling on vacation. Will the train be faster? Will there be parking when I arrive? How is the weather going to affect my trip? IBM researchers are working on a project that will make travelers' lives easier and reduce pollution. They are using advanced analytics to develop adaptive traffic systems that will intuitively learn traveler patterns and behavior to provide more dynamic travel safety and route information than is even possible today.
